Bugs are known as defects that appear in software and digital products. It can be fun to look at Bugs from a different perspective. The definition of a Bug states that we have to compare an expected result with the actual result.
So what about the next examples:
- You get a gift. After unwrapping it, you see a jewellery box from the brand “Tiffany’s”
- Expected result: After opening the box you find a piece of jewelry from Tiffany’s
- Actual result: When opening the box you find a pair of socks
- Expected result: After opening the box you find a piece of jewelry from Tiffany’s
- You hear a knock on the door
- Expected result: You open the door and see somebody
- Actual result: You open the door and don’t see anybody
- Expected result: You open the door and see somebody
- You buy a book titled “Great food for a low budget”
- Expected result: In this book you find great recipes who are suited for a low budget
- Actual result: The ingredients used in the recipes are unique and quite expensive
- Expected result: In this book you find great recipes who are suited for a low budget
